Guest kgb007
Hi All Have started uploading alot of photos taken by my grandfather during or just after WW2 at YPPF Parafield. He was an aircraft mechanic and keen photographer. Parafield was Adelaide's main airport up until the '50's I do believe. During the war years and just after was used for a repair base for alot of Aussie and Ally birds fighting up north. Go see these photos in the gallery "Other Aviaition Photos-Vintage Aircraft and Warbirds". I am glad I can share them here, as they are getting quite old, and need to be recorded for posterity. Anyone who can help identify some of the aircraft your help will be greatly appreciated, just PM me or post comments. Regards Kym Burton kgb007
