Hey all,

 

I just have a silly question i have no idear about

 

but wasent Rwy 07/25 ment to like close or somthing becase they were extending it

 

i dont know if im like slow but yeah i though Rwy07/25 was closed for a while. so anyway to the Question was Rwy07/25 ever closed or will it be closed haha

Hey Mattie,

 

I WAS closed for extensions, etc for about 12 months or so. Re-opened a couple of months ago for specific time periods - Rwy 25 departures between 6 - 7 am on selected days, and Rwy 07 arrivals on selected days between 8 - 10 pm PLUS whenever winds dictate...

 

That's my impression anyway, as I live under the flight path... Don't recall reading / hearing anything more specific, but do know there is still SOME work going on every now and then at the 07 threshold...
