Guest Chainsaw Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Do you remember this bird? Melbourne ring a bell? Almost a disaster with a tail strike? They flew her to from Melb to Toulouse at around FL20 max! Today she was delivered back to DXB and back into service. Airbus replaced TWO major sections.
nzom_pilot Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 wonder how long it is before the dare to schedule her back onto the MEL run!
Guest Darren Masters Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Hey, atleast they got out of there in one piece!
Degrees Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Silly pilots, can't do basic math. I heard they miscalculated fuel loading by some ridiculous amount.
Uncle Chop Chop Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 They where lucky. They used all of the 3600km runway and where lucky to get up.
Guest Chainsaw Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 I am looking forward to the report when it comes out. It will make interesting reading.
