Guest Chainsaw Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 There is some chat around...rumour of course, that when the ban on the name Virgin being used in the Pacific ends sometime in 2010, there is going to be almighty changes. Pacific Blue, V Aust etc will all have the name Virgin 'xyz'. The livery will change to something similar to the V Aust. I have no inside knowledge, just the whispers going round the traps. Let the games begin...
Guest NeedABiggerHamer Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 I think you may be correct my friend but don't expect to see Poly Blue change to the new single branding but their scheme is up for a refurb very soon...
Todd M Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Hmmm, will be interesting to see. It is great to see how Virgin have tried to amalgamate the airlines into a similar livery to create brand awareness, it has always sucked for them though (And it would not be cost effective) that they have had so many brands to be in charge of with the 'ban' on Virgin Branding.
boeing_girl93 Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 I heard they are becoming Virgin Australia... They're also expecting 2 A330 Aircraft next year. :)
Todd M Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 That would certainly be the obvious choice for them (And creates a much simpler brand for Virgin and overseas Marketing). They would either become Virgin Pacific or Virgin Australia, maybe Virgin Oceania but that is a long shot :P.
