Y = Aust YP = Aust Perth region YM = Aust Melbourne region YB = Aust Brisbane region The last two letters are usually the first and last leters of the town or city. Look them up (decode) here, http://www.airservices.gov.au/publications/pending/ersa/LND__11-Mar-2010.pdf
Guest Glenn Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Have you seen our list of Australian Airport Codes, under Resources in the menu above?
john roe Posted February 25, 2010 Author Posted February 25, 2010 Thankyou every one for your help, the link will not open ? http://www.airservices.gov.au/public...1-Mar-2010.pdf
TAA Qwerty Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 John, The blasted pages are "protected" by one of those idiotic disclaimers, try this address- http://www.airservices.gov.au/publications/aip.asp - Then you will need to click on AGREE - and on the next page, open up the bottom dot point - and the fifth dot point on the next page These are all the ICAO codes for Australia. That is a lot of mucking around compared with clicking "Resources" at the top the page you are on now and then clicking "Airport codes" Cheers, Qwerty
john roe Posted February 25, 2010 Author Posted February 25, 2010 ok thanks got it now, whewwwwwwwwww
