I wonder where the common sence of the powers to be (experts ) decide to build one of Australias most major and busiest Secondary Airports "Jandakot", dead in line with YPPH center line of Rwy 03, just 10.4 NM SSE, last night a RFDS AC VH-OWB, was defered from landing at 2500 ft on base lef for R24, in poor weather and diverted further East away from JKT, climbing to 5000 ft, from an inbound UAE 424 AC on long Base leg at 5500 Ft, 30 NM away, while the RFDS PC12 goes hovering out east of the center line to let the big beast have prioety, who has Prioety first, the RFDS, why in my books, had ample time to put down, long before any conflict beteen the 2 AC, finally after 40 mins the RFDS in visability of 500 Mtrs makes 3 missed approaches beforefinally putting down in heavy rain, maybe a prioety 3 flight, never the less, not the best controlling of inbound traffic. ( in the meanwhile, the scores of the World Soccer results were being broadcast over VHF to such AC as SAA to who won, ).
