Here's an opportunity for anyone in Sydney to see a Cessna 172 in Martin Place Sydney. Would be nice if any members could get some photos.

AEROMIL PACIFIC LANDS A FIRST- A CESSNA 172 IN SYDNEY CITY

Aeromil Pacific, the exclusive Cessna aircraft dealer will have a new glass-cockpit Cessna 172

on display in Martin Place, Sydney CBD, 28, 29 and 30 July 2010

The three day special aviation event will also feature a Cessna 182 Flight Simulator, a new

Garmin G1000 glass-cockpit Training Kiosk and information on the range of Cessna aircraft

from the new Skycatcher-light sport aircraft (LSA), to the Citation Mustang-the world’s newest

and most technologically advanced small jet, to the Citation X-the world’s fastest non-military

jet.

The new Cessna 172 on display will be sold at a special Martin Place price and value added

package including training, fuel, finance, insurance and maintenance.

Making the announcement today Steve Padgett Aeromil Pacific Managing Director said, “This

has never been done before, I am delighted to say we have landed a first with a Cessna 172

on display in the middle of Sydney. It will be all about promoting aviation, living the dream

and sharing the passion we have for flying. For some living the dream is learning to fly for the

sheer enjoyment of the experience with family and friends, others, a flying career and for

many in business, living the dream is flying in a business jet to escape the endless frustrations

of airline travel and get home in time for dinner”.

Visitors to the Aeromil Pacific Martin Place aviation display will experience flying over Sydney

Harbour in a flight simulator and see the inside of an aircraft cockpit with new generation glass

screen avionics, powered-up, ready for flight. Guests will also have the opportunity talk to

aviation experts. Steve Padgett went on to say “People often have questions about aviation

and are not quite sure how to get the answers. We will have a very knowledgeable and

experienced team on hand to talk about all things aviation from basic to jet pilot training to

owning and operating all types of aircraft, purchase and finance options, charter and

insurance. Our aim is to give our guests a great experience and a better understanding of

flying that will get them to look to the skies with us”.
