suzienderson Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Due to medical emergency not only Emirates but any flight have to do landing any nearest airport. it is come in flight rules and regulation. if there is no nearest airport in that flight rout than we have to divert our flight.because first thing we have to do is that we have to save customer's life first.

Thankyou for you comments, yes we are quiet aware of the regulations and safety of passengers on any AC, it was unusual for, as only Emirates fly a A388 overhead of Western Ausstralia, the main reasion for this post is that Perth Airport is not equipped to handle the A380, our main runway is too narrow and none of the aero bridges have been modified at that time, although under extreem circumstances was the AC able to come into Perth, and use open mobile stairs and a scissor catering truck to take the patient off the AC , Perth Airport is currently in the middle of a huge modification of its International Terminal, and later the Runways will be widened, cheers
