Chainy rang me today and wished for me to pass on his heartfelt thanks to each and every one of his friends here at TAA for taking the time to wish him well.

He is home in his compound at the farm recovering and it will be a long road to recovery before he is back to his old self.

He is still quite ill and weak and has asked me to make this post to thank you. Keep the support coming, he is reading this.

Thanks everyone

So glad to hear it! Now that Chainy's returned to his compound, I have no doubt he will be giving cheek again before we know it

Thanks Heaps Glenn for the update, there's been ALOT of thoughts to this family member, it's great to hear that he is on the road back and not bogged somewhere, with enough speed he will be able to take off from that road / runway - looking forward to that. - Pete <><

Had a lovely call from our mate Chainy tonight . It was such a surprise , and I have to admit , took me a little while to quite come to terms with it .. Sorry Chainy for not immediately recognising your voice , I should have ..He is home now as you all know , and making good progress . He is taking it very easy as you would expect , and that's a good thing . He wishes to thank all who have thought about him during this time , and I know that he is grateful for all your good wishes . All the best mate ..

That reminds me, I was talking to my house-sitter and she said you called Chainy. I asked how you sounded (told her you had just had major surgery) she said you sounded pretty good considering! The mobile's going to be a bit hit and miss for the next 5 or 6 days and I'll be home on 10th or 11th. Hear from you soon, and thanks for the call.

Hey guys,

1st post for a while.

Firstly, I want to thank all of my friends here at TAA for your kind thoughts and support. It really helped me through the ordeal :)

I am so weak, I couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding at the moment, but am improving. I am sleeping about 6 hours every day as well as night to give the ol body a chance to recover (yes Kaye nice advice).

I am now reading all of your posts again, so watch out! I may be grounded but I can still moderate you lot ;)

Again, many thanks guys, TAA is such a kind family to be part of.

'donya Chainy - fantastic to have you back with us. We're off in a week for 6 weeks in Northern Climes so will likely be mostly out of contact. Back end of October, so will be hoping to hear of good recovery in the interim.

Cheers cobber -

Geoff.

Hi Chainsaw.

It's good to hear there's again some "buzzing" from you.

Keep your chin up and continue to get stronger.

Let's hope it won't be too long until we hear the chainsaw is at full throttle.

Cheers from South Coast Sam.001_smile.gif.6386dc7a3bee1687774534e35ad7aba8.gif
