Guest Darren Masters Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 All, from this side of the ditch we had the Wings Over NZ forum meet-up today. We flew from Ardmore Airfield on the lovely old bird ZK-DAK down to Hamilton Airport (approx 25min flight time). Was a beaut morning and always lovely to put faces to names. Glad I went as I scored a job (volunteer) as cabin crew onboard the Dakota here. Training started some what on the flight home today back to Auckland and will be doing some more tomorrow on an Auckland scenic flight. I'll be doing this on spare days off from my full-time job at Jetstar. So exciting to be able to be a part of something such as this and really looking forward to it! Obviously will be subject to all the normal EP (emergency procedures training) etc as any commercial airline being a commercial operation. Will be fantastic to add a DC3 to my aircraft type aswell as the A320! Some of my favourite pics below of our adventure today.
