thatdetailguy
Hey first off sorry if this thread is in the incorrect spot, admins please move to correct if not. hey everyone my names Damien and im trying to get a buisness started detailing aircraft and would like some feedback if possible about such a service. I would like to know if there is a market for detailing/washing and polishing. i Have experiance in detailing cars and my friend has experiance in detailing cars and planes. We have both only worked for somebody else. Basically have any of you had an aircraft detailed? and are willing to get it done again and how much do people pay to get a small plane or helicopter detailed. DGL Fox
Hi Mike, Merry Christmas mate, yes I have bought some gear and I am doing it myself, I think I have done a good job, a bit of polishing here and a bit of touch up paint there, I got my wheel spats repainted and they look great, my next thing will be to redo the seat upholstery, we found out on the flight up here from Victoria that the seat swabs don't have to much of a cushion in them so I will get a bit added and redo the floor carpet... it should be all good then...if you ever come down this way give us a yell mate if not we will no doubt meet up at Old Station..
