I had a 12 months subscription to Pacific Flyer but did not renew it. Too light weight, fluffy, lacking substance, if you know what I mean.

There are some great and free online Mags like the UK's http://www.av8magazine.com/index.php You need to register but it is 100 pages of good stuff.

Sport Pilot as part of RA-Aus Membership, Flying (US), EAA Sport Aviation (join up and become a member, cheap). Why not head to your local newsagent and buy a range of different magazines for a couple of months until you find one or some you like?

Or, head to your local flying school, if you have one, and see if they have some mags you can borrow.
