sixtiesrelic
Alan is a prolific painter and they're all good and desirable paintings. I'm one of the lucky people who has one that he did for me. The scanner reflects part of the texture unfortunately and camera got a spot of reflection too. It is one of my prized posessions in my study. sixtiesrelic
how are you scanning them to not have the reflections?
Alan Spears
That one was taken with a camera. I have scanned my smaller ones quite OK,except, I did a series of night freighter paintings with dark night backgrounds...... ugh !! They had SO much glint on the high gloss varnish, that I should really have photographed them with a polarising filter.
