Aviation Photo's And Books

Hi All,

I used to be an active aviation enthousiast, photographer, spotter, etc in the late eighties, early nineties. I made lots of photos and slides and have a few books.

Even though some of my collection holds some emotional value, I decided to get rid of it, but I hate to see it going to waste, therefore I was wondering if anyone on this forum would be interested in some of the stuff:

All slides and photos were taken with an SLR and lenses ranging from 50 to 300mm. Many photos and slides were taken on personal visits to airbases (still possible in those days).

Over 500 slides of military aircraft, mostly European and US, all taken in Western Europe in the late eighties. Aircraft types include Starfighters, Phantoms, Mirages, F15, 16, 18, transports, trainers. Air forces include, Dutch, Belgium, France, UK, Germany, US, Canada and a few others.

The slides are all framed, many in professional frames with glass. The slides are in 50 slide trays, 2 in one carrier and 10 in another.

Over 600 photos of military and civil aircraft, taken all over the world (Eastern/Southern Europe, Alaska, Australia). Most taken by me, but also some black and white photos taken in the sixties of some rare US jets.

Other than military, the photos include airliners, warbirds and other civil aircraft. Many aircraft are rare.

Books include serial books (Military aircraft serials of Europe, Euromil, Far east air arms and Australasia, Military Aircraft Markings, etc)

Also books about stealth aircraft, and books on individual aircraft (F15, phantom, F104, etc) and some more general stuff.

Anyway, if you are interested in some, or all of it, please contact me. I am near Melbourne, so you are welcome to come over and browse. I have no idea what it is worth, but I am sure we can work something out. I am not after a lot of money, but would much rather see it in good hands.

Regards,

Edwin

Hi All,

I have been given permission to upload Mirage3c's photo collection. This will take some time, but I have 50+ uploaded so far (more being added all the time). They are very good quality considering they are scanned from colour prints. You can see them at the following link. There are no photos in the primary folder, they are all filed under the country where they were taken.
