red750 Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Copied from airport-data.com : A Socata TB-20 Trinidad GT registered LX-SAR is "featured" on YouTube making a wheels up landing videoed from within the airplane. The headsets worn appear to be the noise-cancelling type. Listen to the landing gear up warning- screeching tone on final being ignored by all aboard and see the end result. http://www.youtube.com/watchpopup?v=Hs5ChcYbaNU&vq=large
dazza 38 Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Humans being as they are, gear up landing will never be stopped.Wearing ANR headsets make the chances of it happening even more so.
cficare Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 I dont reckon the headsets had anything to do with it...pilots were distracted and not doing 'checks'..
