metalman Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 should have used a check list,,,,I wonder if the Instructor got a rev for not teaching him how to preflight properly
Guest Darren Masters Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 You get all sorts in this world
Guest JabJockey Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 I guess getting stopped on the ground is preferable to getting shot down by the local F-16 Air National Guard squadron.
sixtiesrelic Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 There was a story about "The Black Baron" out Quilpie way in the eighties. Got her off the ground and then realized he'd never really watched what the pilot DID when landing. He finished up in the town dump and full of remorse left it there and walked into town to admit he'd been a silly lad to the cops. When he arrived, he had difficulty getting a word in because of a number of excited witnesses fighting to tell the cops what THEY saw.
