willedoo
Had to scratch around a bit to find this one - looks like a Blohm & Voss BV-141. Cheers, Willie.

red750
I thought you would get it Willlie. How about this one? I have cloned out the N No. so you can't rego search.
mnewbery
Yeah but you let us know it was N registered. Not this it helps much
willedoo
Maybe 'M' , Isle of Man. I wonder if that's Scotland in the background. There's very similar looking houses near Prestwick.
siznaudin
Dunno what it is, but after grobbeling around a bit I find that that it's rego is N520DM - is that for deutschmarks?;)
willedoo
I've been trying to figure out why there's so many photos of it at Glasgow International & Prestwick. Going by the rego database, it's owned by Raytheon. They've got a plant at Glenroths, to the east of Glasgow, so maybe they enter the country at Glasgow & then fly on to Fife airport near Glenroths. Sounds a good theory anyway. A G-520 Egrett. You almost got away with it Peter, but mnewbery busted you on the 'N'. And then Siz got on the case with the rego and that was it. Sorry about cheating. I looked up the database. Cheers, Willie.

red750
Hi Willie, The Bachem Ba 349 Natter. A replica of the Bachem Ba349 at the Deutsches Museum in Munich, Germany. You might know this one: .
willedoo
That was quick, Peter. The last one is interesting. It looks like someone's plonked a Seafire/Spiteful canopy onto a contra-rotating P-51. The tail & rudder doesn't look like a P-51 variant, though. Cheers, Willie.
red750
Hi Willie, With the Bachem, I thought it looked similar to a Nazi V1, so I Googled manned rocket aircraft. As for mine, it never made it past prototype. That's the only clue for the moment. .
siznaudin
Martin Baker something or other? BTW, I assume you all realise we have a local Grob working out of Parafield...? http://www.flinders.edu.au/science_engineering/environment/our-school/research/ara-flnduni.cfm Some of the imagery they produce is simply mind boggling. red750
No Geoff, I wasn't aware there was a Grob at Parafield. And yes, you are on the ball with Martin Baker. It's the MB5, superseded by the arrival of the jet age. It's getting harder to find difficult examples. How about this one? willedoo
Has some similarities to a Fairey Barracuda, but the tail is different. Cheers, Willie.

red750
Hi Geoff, You quoted the right model but I have no idea what your photo is. Is it another quiz or does it relate to my last quiz? The Supermarine 322 was intended as a torpedo dive bomber, but only two wooden prototypes were built. It was named the Dumbo, and had a wing which could have its angle of incidence changed in flight. red750
I'm afraid you are quicker than i am Geoff. I have searched hundreds of images via Google Images, trying to narrow the search, but can't find anything on your photo. This one should also be fairly easy, but I'll throw it in anyway.
