willedoo Posted June 19, 2013 Share Posted June 19, 2013 A few photos of captured Mitsubishi Zeros that were rebuilt by the first Technical Air Intelligence Unit (combined 5th Air Force, United States Navy and RAAF) at Eagle Farm, Brisbane, during WW2. [ATTACH=full]1811[/ATTACH] I'd never heard about it, but I'm currently reading "Darwin Spitfires- the real battle for Australia" by Anthony Cooper, recommended by forum member Spin in the book reviews.
