Neil_S Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Nice video - thanks for posting. There was a Brisfit flying at Warbirds over Wanaka last week, along with a Sopwith Triplane, Airco DH5 and from the Germain side a Fokker Triplane, Fokker D7 and Pfalz D3. Great stuff! Good to see these brilliant old aircraft still flying. Cheers, Neil
Deskpilot Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Thanks Mauld, nice video. Great to watch the tail skid do it job on landing. Clearly works well.

The UK saw a couple of them fly in 2012 R.E.8 and Albatross, but sadly they are now static in a museum would love to see more of them.
facthunter Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 They punch above their weight in NZ in this area. It's great to see that old stuff flying. That Bristol is just a straight forward simple aeroplane, a little bit bigger and heavier than a lot of them. Some of ours are a lighter version with similar speeds and characteristics. Nev
