The Caravan is a big aircraft to put down in that length, although it does have the ability to use reverse thrust. The people at the end of the strip obviously trust the pilot to stop in time and in a straight line!

yampy Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 It appears to be a re engined Caravan with the Alison Turbo prop , denoted by the 4 bladed prop . This conversion has very significant short field performance compared with the standard version . There is only one such model in Australia I understand , operated by Sydney Skydivers and can been seen most days at Wilton Airfield ..
