turboplanner Posted October 16, 2019 Author Posted October 16, 2019 and yet there's 3 million Toyota Prius driving around with no problems ... Doesn't matter, it's the internet. I think the basic concept has worked well as a means of lowering fuel consumption, but it’s heavier than either pure ICE or electric, and with the growing doubt about the “evidence” that CO2 causes global warming, the latest Fuel efficient ICE systems are looking good.

No, it's inbetween ICE and EV (weight), that's the point, best of both worlds, or worst of both worlds, depending on your POV. I have no problem with ICE outside of city and inner suburbs.
Marty_d Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 with the growing doubt about the “evidence” that CO2 causes global warming Ok, I'll bite. There's a whole thread on WhatsUpAustralia (just click on "off topic" if you haven't been there) about climate change. I'd love you to show evidence of this "growing doubt" as every poll and study shows public acceptance of the science is growing, not decreasing. See you there.
