440032 Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 How do you get an elephant into the cargo pod of a Caravan? (Put him in, close the door.) 1
pmccarthy Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 My friend once put a wild pig in the boot of a Renault 10. Result was panel damage to all sides and bonnet of the front boot. The pig was fine.
onetrack Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 I trust this isn't going to become the Elephant in the room.
Marty_d Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Trying to fly an elephant in a Cessna Caravan? Dumbos. 2 1
flyvulcan Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 I hear the flight was to an area near Rome. Tuskany I believe. 1

440032 Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Dunno about the Caravan, you could probably fit one in a 747 Jumbo Jet.
red750 Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Like the old joke- What's harder than getting a pregnant elephant in a Volkswagen? Getting an elephant pregnant in a Volkswagen. 2
onetrack Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Of course the Elephant suffocated in the cargo pod - the cargo loader should have known, he was supposed to go in the Trunk. 1 1
Phil Perry Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 I trust this isn't going to become the Elephant in the room. Oh Bugger Onetrack. . . you beat me to it that time . . . . :-) 1
Phil Perry Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Trying to fly an elephant in a Cessna Caravan? Dumbos. Now, a Jumbo, I could believe. . .
old man emu Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Certainly not as difficult as flying a Super Guppy across the country. CAUTION: COMPUTER GENERATED VOICE-OVER
flyvulcan Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 I hear that it was the new electric version of the Caravan designed by Elon Tusk. 1 1
flyvulcan Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 And anyway, what else would you expect to be loaded into an aircraft whose flight originates in the Ivory Coast... 1
facthunter Posted June 22, 2019 Posted June 22, 2019 Interesting nosewheel first, landing. They were used to bring parts of the Airbus A300 to Toulouse Fra for assembly in the early 80's . like the complete wings from England (I believe, but not sure.). Engines are Allisons from a C 130 about 5.000 SHP each. Nev.
