......body repairs - but still going, after 70+ years! OT was all set to firewall the throttle, when he spotted someone running towards him, waving frantically.

It was bull, and he wanted a load of information from OT on the technical aspects of car-to-aircraft conversions, before OT set off on his airborne Falcon odyssey!

OT had to shut the engine down and give bull the information he was so desperately seeking. The reason behind bulls urgent request was that bull had suddenly realised that;

 

A) There were thousands of abandoned Falcons in Tassie...

B) There was a huge pent-up demand for cheap and affordable flying....

C) He had to beat all the scrappies to those Falcons before they were chopped up and on the boat to China.....

 

Accordingly, bull rushed home (as fast as the Jackeroo would go, of course, keeping his eye on the temperature gauge), and as soon as he landed back in Tassie, he sent out word that he was in the market for........

..... any Falcon that still had (relatively) unrusted sill panels and if anyone has an XR6 or XR8, bull would make a special concession and take it away for free.

 

bull received a few 1 finger'd responses from the 3 financial members of the FORD Car Club, which is based in the metropolis of Fingal, and yet he also ..........

Explanation ........ bull intended to use these parts to make his own sports car and these would be silver with 2 blue stripes, with each to be signed personally by Carol bullby.

PS .... Turbo is still contemplating digging one of his V4 Evinrudes out of the shed, and getting some wet & dry onto those cylinders that he nipped up 40 years ago.

Considered for the short-wing version of the Drifter.

Short wing versions were normally bought from owners who operated out of strips they’d chainsawed out of the bush. They liked the Bluehead but their constant aerobatics flogged the motors out. The Offy would fire them off like a homesick angel or......
