Howdy from Port Macquarie

Howdy all fellow forum members in Oz. I'm Praveen from Port Macquarie NSW. Glad to have found this forum and I can see that there are quite a lot of useful threads related to Oz. A few things about me...been dreaming about flying as long as I can remember. Currently I fly model aircraft and scratch built a few but as they say you haven't experienced flying until you sit in the pilot's seat and feel the lift off as the wheels leave the ground. So after a couple of years of saving, I've started taking my flying lessons and am aiming to go though the RPC-> RPL route. So wish me luck..

 Good luck. I made it and started with models. There were NEVER any guarantees of getting a good job. Currently it's at a real high for qualified people. Nev

 It goes from chronic shortage to over supply in cycles. That's always been the pattern.  Nev

Yep I get that but what "job" were you referring to?? . Private/Commercial Pilot?
