Student Pilot Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 Similar concept to Scotty Wintons machine. Flying wings never seem to catch on except where money is no object such as military B2 1
turboplanner Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 Similar concept to Scotty Wintons machine. Flying wings never seem to catch on except where money is no object such as military B2 Mainly because of the fright factor when the new pilot realises just how fast they can pitch. You see a few around RC clubs where the power to ratio is many times what we can achieve in full size airctaft, and a burst of throttle will pull them out of a tumble. 2
Marty_d Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 Be a nice machine if only he hadn't forgotten the fuselage...
bexrbetter Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 Closer to the French Fauvel AV36, AV45, AV48 ect.
farri Posted November 28, 2019 Posted November 28, 2019 Yep! it flies! but not for me. Doesn`t appear to have the control-ability I want from an Ultralight aircraft. Franco.
