skeptic36 Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Hi all, I was recently doing some theory work where we discussed the reflex bridle and how it puts an upward curve into the back of the wing to pull the aircraft out of a dive without pilot input, now in my dreamtime (thats where look at different web sites regarding trikes and their specs and think about what it would be like to be able to afford one like that) I see Topless Wings, great looking, easier to set up, apparently great handling characteristics (if you believe the testimonials) and lower hangar clearance requirement. So how do they achieve the safety that the reflex bridle provides ? Regards Bill
Guest Crezzi Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 I'm not an expert on topless wings but the only 1 I've looked at in detail had very substantial batten tips. Hope that helps John
