My 3-Year-Old Great-Grand-Son, Deacon Theurillat, lives here, with his parents, in a second house on our property! he`s been watching me take his Mum Alison, his Dad Sam and his sister Brooklyn, (and others) Drifter flying, for most of his young life and he`s been wanting to go flying with me since around 2 years of age so this morning I decided, "Today Is The Day"!

Of course! Brooklyn and Alison wanted to go up also...6-Year-Old Brooklyn is a veteran!, she first flew with me at 4 years of age.

Well it's back to normal now, beautiful day and the skies are full of drivers who shouldn't be in charge of a baby pram!

Skies were buzzing here today. Even saw two friends in little tail draggers flying loose formation over my head.

The UK government lifted private flying restrictions yesterday - subject to maintaining social distancing, which means no instruction and only people from the same household on the plane.

For me in the TB20, it is useless as I feel it has been so long (taking into account the 6 month paintjob finishing just as the lockdown came) that I need instruction.. So I will have to wait a while yet. I can jump into a club PA28 but not sure they will allow me to, either.

At least I can get my ipad out of the aircraft now... Can't recall the PIN to log in though...

Had to work in the back yard all day on essential maintenance. I was distracted by an aero engine every half an hour, by far the most I have heard in months. I was quite envious.

You're welcome Peter. I was out your way polluting your airspace. Was very busy at the airbase.

For those that are not too sure how to go about getting current again after being locked up!?

I'm assuming he's kept the "how to land an airplane" book for in flight reading?

Shades of the scene in the movie "Those Magnificent Men in their flying machines" where the German commander decided he was going to be the pilot.

Im itching to get back into the air, have the added bonus of playing on my new landing strip, but I still cant!

This week and next are our last opportunities to get our control burns done to protect our property. Ive been out grading firebreaks, lighting fires, monitoring control burns and calling in aerial incendiaries these last couple of weeks, all trying to head off the severe fire threats that will come later into the season.

IF i get everything done Im hoping to get into the air next weekend, Queens birthday. And then, as soon as the state quarantine restrictions ease, it will be over to Kununurra for brekkie!

Boom.

We wreaked our economy's for nothing. Under 50's with no comorbidity you are more likely to die in a car crash. Under 70 and you are still relatively safe.

We are going to stave over 150 million people Coronavirus pandemic 'will cause famine of biblical proportions' and suicide rate in Australia has increased by over 50%.

If only we had figured it out early hmmm.

Covid crisis was for the mathematical illiterate.

You would be happy to be in Russia or Brazil, then? They think along the same lines as you do. Factual stuff I got today says there is (as yet) no real increase in the suicide rate. We have LOST about 103 TOTAL and the medical system is not overwhelmed. When many "recover"they are NOT as they were before they got ill. Nev

These are places i have seriously considered moving to.

Up here Anna is nearly as bad as Dear Leader, Chairman Dan.

According to some stats I saw yesterday, the infection rate was already in steep decline from social distancing and that enforced "lockdown" was pointless. Similar results could have been achieved with a lot less economical damage.

No one was suggesting just doing nothing, but for the most part the rules in place are unnecessary and silly. that's what people are annoyed about.

It's good to see so many of you giving advice of your immense medical knowledge about infectious diseases.

I'd recommend the US if you want open slather, I'm sure Donny would welcome with open arms another Trump voter :oh yeah:

Almost 450 people died of the " black summer " bush-fire smoke.

Nothing in the media at tat time, we ( the wife and I ) coudn,t go outside, most days.

And the wife still suffers from it.

Now they're going to start up smoking us out again.
