As Australia woke to news of school closures, Anzac Day cancellations and new coronavirus cases, a pilot in Austria took to the skies to deliver an important message to the world.

Within 24 minutes, the flight radar pattern created by light aircraft Diamond DA40 revealed the words “Stay home”.

The message spread across the eastern Austrian state of Burgenland after the pilot took off from Wiener Neustadt Airport, landing at Graz airport around 1.26pm local time.
