red750 Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 The very first episode of Whirlybirds I ever saw was at a truckstop cafe on the Hume Highway just north of the metropolitan area. I was still in high school, and we lived at Deniliquin. I had come to Melbourne with my father, and we stopped for petrol. Only the very rich had TV's in Deni. Reception was almost non existent, you had to have a very high antenna mast. Later, when we moved back to Victoria, we didn't have a TV so used to visit a neighbour's house to watch.

Student Pilot Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 Sounds like a 2 stroke, crankcase looks like a Rotax. What sort of car engine, Trabant? I did click on the link but not being a bookface person I couldn't access it.
