The map is showing the wrong airport...go west to the big Island ( Australia) at Airlie Beach to find the correct airport.

I would like to. I will work extremely hard to get a leave pass for me and the 182.

I am planning on heading over for a couple of weeks and thought the runway dinner would be a great idea.

As it gets a bit closer and if there is an interest we may catch up for an ale and a chat ??

With the opening of the borders it is looking more like a possibility now.

You can camp or get a cabin in the Big 4 caravan park right next door to the airstrip.  Also plan to arrive the day before at least.  Plenty to do there as well.  I'm 45 minutes south at Palmyra so if ever going past and need a hand or fuel let me know.  PM for my contact if ever needed.  Same invite for Kununurra.  Cheers.

West Coast to East, attended the Runway (hangar) dinner and met some great people.

one sole who is no longer with us (Ray) R.I.P I met in Charleville & did not get to have that catch up,drink,and chat at Airlie 🍺

looking forward to attending another dinner there as the country is spectacular.
