JG3 Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 How do I add a new posting in the classifieds?? Maybe I'm blind but I can't find a way in.....
WayneL Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Select classifieds in the menu, select the group ( e.g. aircraft, engines etc). You will then see a box that says (no prefix), select the type of ad here, e.g. wanted then add a title where it's says thread title. You will the see other text boxes to add further details. Then select Post at the bottom of the page.
JG3 Posted July 30, 2020 Author Posted July 30, 2020 Thank you. I didn't realize that you need to select the category first step. Done now. 1

Roscoe Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Now my question is how do I remove an ad after the item has been sold?? I guess I'm slow but can't find a way to do it..... You will find a drop down menu and select CLOSED.
JG3 Posted August 21, 2020 Author Posted August 21, 2020 You will find a drop down menu and select CLOSED. I've done that but the ad is still up......
Roscoe Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 I've done that but the ad is still up...... Yes but it should have a closed banner on it even though the ad still shows. People then know not to respond
Roscoe Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Yes but it should have a closed banner on it even though the ad still shows. People then know not to respond And if you go through existing classifieds you will see what i mean
Jabiru7252 Posted August 25, 2020 Posted August 25, 2020 When it comes to software and web pages, never blame yourself when you can't nut stuff out. When I was first taught software development and programming we had the saying "Don't Make Me Think". That meant the user interface had to be intuitive, simple and obvious. These days that doesn't apply. LIke many things these days, cheap and nasty is the norm. Having had my ramble, I do find this forum easy enough to navigate.
