Aussie Aviation Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Found this on google for anyone interested. https://countryairstripguides.weebly.com/ 1
mkennard Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Don't think the producers will be happy with that. They charge a fee for it. 1
Jerry_Atrick Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 It seems to be on their site... and they are not asking any money. Also it is a 2003 edition... 1
Admin Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 If it is a 2003 version should it be a allowed to be downloaded as it will be full of incorrect info...dangerous 1 1
Old Koreelah Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 If it is a 2003 version should it be a allowed to be downloaded as it will be full of incorrect info...dangerous There are too many marked strips on our charts that haven't been used in yonks; many have been ploughed up long ago. Why does it take years for AirServices to correct a map fault that you report?
kgwilson Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 It has South Grafton on it & it is a 2003 version. About the only thing right about YSGR is the runway directions although it states the surface is grass/gravel. It was sealed about 15 years ago. I reckon many of the strips listed no longer exist.
Jerry_Atrick Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 I think it should be allowed to be updated as a historical record. As pilots we should be verifying the recency af any planning data we use, correct?
Downunder Posted August 2, 2020 Posted August 2, 2020 http://www.flightace.com/airstrp1.htm For the asking price you'd really have to be nuts to buy one of them (per state) over an Ozrunways subscription covering all of Aus..... 1
