Phil Perry Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Circled for an hour to burn off excess fuel. Looks like main gear failure, but no official info.
yampy Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 I managed to find the report on aviation-safety.net . Looks like your bog standard refusal of the undercart to lower . Thankfully just one minor injury . Unfortunately I don’t appear to be able to attach the file here , but it is easily viewable on their website .
Thruster88 Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 One of the pilots had a heavy landing escaping from the cockpit with the emergency rope. How does that system work?
facthunter Posted August 23, 2020 Posted August 23, 2020 You get out of the cockpit window and use a rope. Pilots are like superman. They might have used emergency extension of the gear and the doors remain open and throw a few sparks. Nev 1

facthunter Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 There's always other ways/procedures to get the gear down.. Nev
