stewie923 Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 I realise many couldn't make it to the William Creek Fly-in this year, however I thought I'd post a few pics of some of some of the aircraft that did attend. It was a great weekend with over 40 planes making the trip. There was good food, good music and plenty of fun. We drove up (no Nav endorsement yet), but I believe a number of trips were made out to Lake Eyre, the Marree Man, Mount Eba station and The Painted Hills, there was even a few aerobatic displays in front of the pub which kept everyone entertained for a while. It was a pretty casual weekend and a good chance for a low hour pilot like myself to meet some new people and start to be part of the fun. We're already looking forward to next year. 9
Thruster88 Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Had a nice trip to William Creek, Birdsville in may 2019 with young pilot friend Gus and the mighty Musketeer. Beautiful and interesting places. 3

Cyrano Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Did Trevor sponsor you with free beers at his pub?
facthunter Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Free beer tomorrow. EVERYTHING has to be brought into that place. Nev
stewie923 Posted September 12, 2020 Author Posted September 12, 2020 Did Trevor sponsor you with free beers at his pub? Sadly no, although I drove up so we had plenty in our own fridge ? 1
red750 Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 The sign said "Free beer tomorrow" So I went back the next day and said "I'll have a free beer thanks." The barman said "Read the sign - free beers are tomorrow."
facthunter Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 That's how it works. Like a warrantee for the life of the vehicle. Nev
