Hi. Have been reading Recreational Flying for a while and finally joined.

Recently retired, March this year - not the best timing for the finances due to a certain ‘Mr Covid’! Recently purchased a Jabiru 160 with a mate. My plan was to fly around our great state while he works to pay for the aircraft. ?

Completed a restricted pilot’s licence (Cessna) when at uni, stopped flying due to finances, ie marriage, kids, dog etc, etc. My mate (majority owner) of ‘my’ Jabiru introduced me to RAAus which rekindled my love of flying. Certificate, pax, x country acquired, now enjoying flying. Avatar is just another day flying in beautiful Esperance,

Think that’s enough of my life history.

I enjoy reading the posts.

Regards.

Hi Laurie,

Welcome. Which  favour of J160 did you buy?

Are you flying multi day trips , alone (baggage on pax seat)  or with company ?

Welcome Laurie. Very envious of you sitting locked down living in Melbourne .

One day I will join you in the air.  Clear skies.
