Admin Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 Well we all know how this year has impacted our lives but what about flying hours? How many hours flying have you done on average in previous years compared to how many hours you have done, or likely to do this year?
440032 Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 12 since last annual, OCT 2019. 67 in 2005-2006.
alf jessup Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 (edited) 145 in 2018, 72 in 2019 & currently 90 so far this year, pretty happy for a hack RAA pilot who is restrict to flying only weekends as the RAAF curtails weekday flying. + I worked away for 6 months of the year on rotation for the last 26 years up until 3 months ago. 1645 hrs in the last 16 years so cannot complain too much. M61A1 Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 2019- 168 hrs 2020- 180hrs The main difference in my flying is that I haven't left the state since January.
Jerry_Atrick Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 2017 - 145 hours 2018 - 122 hours 2019 - 65 hours (a/c was in the paint shop for a bleedin long time) 2020 - Zippo hours... a/c came out of paint shop just before lockdown, sold the share, work dried up.. Start some work on Wednesday, and we go into lockdown on Thursday!
Yenn Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 Last year 25, this year 13. Less hours is hardly affected by the pandemic, I just have one less aircraft to fly..
