Just looking FlightRadar24 and watching RFDS doing some strange flying. Maybe training, but was very amused with the track....

Last night we used FTR to follow the progress across the Tasman Sea of a small 6-reindeer powered craft.

Which remindes me about a storey I heard last year when santa stopped at YKTN and realised that CASA were doing ramp checks. Santa rang Mike {CFI} and said "my flight review is out of date are you night rated, CASA are coming soon". No problem said Mike I will get my equipment and be right over you do a flight plan in the meantime. Santa was horified when mike turned up with a pump action 12 gauge shotty on his shoulder and said you can't have that gun on my sleigh. Mike says I need it, it is part of my equipment. Santa stands his ground and says no loaded firearms on my sleigh why would you need that anyway? To which Mike replies "look I am not supposed to tell you this but you are going to loose an engine on take off".
