Naish88 Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 I was sick at looking the low quality scanned Skyfox manuals, therefore I have redone all the POH and Service Manual in clear PDF and added a fully functional table of contents divided in ATA chapters. Happy to share with everyone. If you find any mistake on the manuals, please let me know so I can fix it. I'm also happy to share the editable files (just PM me). In return, I would like to ask everyone to contribute in sharing with me, whatever additional original Skyfox documentation (drawings or manuals) you might have. nwarthmann Posted June 30 Posted June 30 Hello Naish88, great effort, thank you very much. Very, very, helpful! Unfortunately, even in your nice an clean versions I do have trouble with the legibility of some legends and parts lists in the drawings towards the end of the document. Have you been able to find original plans, or better scans in the meantime? Also, your docs concern the CA25N, Gazelle. I am rebuilding a CA25 (tailwheel, not Gazelle). I do have the POH, but I would need the Service Manual. Would you have this as well, by any chance? I am particularly after drawings and parts lists so that I can source missing parts. I wished anyone had created a commentd list of parts with recent sources, particularly for parts that need mandatory changing. E.g., Seatbelts, and all rubber parts. I suspect that many parts from kitfox 3 will fit, but not sure. Ie., the windscreen and door panel. Woudl you know? thanks a lot best Norman
Neil Denmark Posted July 1 Posted July 1 Thanks Again Naish88 they have been very helpful! One problem I have at the moment is with my wing tank fuel drain valve. I had a slow leak/weep and replaced the Curtis CCA-1550 drain valve thinking that would fix the leak. It did not! Turns out the brass fitting that the valve screws into has split - a previous owner probably got a bit too aggressive with the thread tape and/or overtightened? I would like to remove the split brass fitting from the tank which might be a "finger filter". Has anyone ever had to remove this fitting from tank or have a drawing (nothing in the Service Manual)? Is it screwed in or epoxy resin glued in? Any knowledge would be appreciated!

I own a Skyfox CA22 Tailwheel and as far as I know there was never a service manual for it. The Gazelle service manual will be almost identical to the tailwheel, so aside from the landing gear, everything else should be the same. I'm rebuilding my Skyfox too, and I have an extensive part list and 3D cad drawings of many parts (firewall, floor panels, side windows, and so on... ) . At this stage I won't be publishing all this info in bulk, but if you need anything specific, feel free to send me a PM.
