New CASA survey

This will be CASA wanting to know what sort of identifying gear you have on board like transponder and radio...ADSB  SE2 or similar etc

I just completed that survey, I can’t see how it can hurt and it might, though I have my doubts, help!

I think it will be data that CASA want for eventually ADSB in and out to be used by all aircraft for identification and safe flying..."be seen"  Maybe its what they might want to use with or against ASA..who knows what these guys agenda is lately

I have ADSB out in conjunction with Dyson Skyview which CASA say cannot be used for separation purposes (at least that was the story when I registered it!) so I am not sure what greater purpose it serves than just the transponder? But anyway, I have it along with Dyson GPS and dual radios. Whatever I can do to enhance my safety!

interesting. a few weeks ago, I had a big whine to CASA at their mothership in canberra, and RAA at the AGM  about finding exactly what is out there for the whole transpondder, ADSB-OUT  etc facility.

I haven’t received this survey yet. Is it a limited invitation?  I received and completed the flying hours survey last week.
