Not easy to do if you believe the  stories and also my experience with them. .It would have to bounce and fall on the nosewheel. NO nosewheel is built to take the weight of an aeroplane. Can't see much (else) wrong with it.

Looks like someone had a bad day at Casino this morning. pretty sure it is from Caboolture...a syndicate aircraft I thinkimage000000.jpg.63bf785508da8d184b35829050f61ac6.jpg

The 3-4 pilots looking on may be ex council workers

If and I said if - the two guys in the white shirts were flying in the Foxbat, she would be seriously over MTOW.  Smile.

Any idea on conditions? Gusty, lumpy? Foxbats are easy to land apparently.

You can land them with both eyes closed. So easy to fly - nice plane.

Look closely. It's not a Foxbat. It is a Vixxen. It is stiff and snatchy on the elevator and easy to overcontrol in pitch. I know this because I was a member of that syndicate a few years ago.

There is much history of this type of accident with Vixxens.

This syndicate has previously owned Foxbats,  the Foxbat is a much better aircraft for Pilots with limited experience.  Bit of sympathy for the   Pilot who's had a really bad day, and the Syndicate whose insurance will likely be unavailable or unffordable now

Same thing happened to my flight school Vixxen  at Coffs Harbour,  it was hired out for a private flight and it suffered the same fate, was out of service for 4 months.

Will CASA respond in its true Bristell fashion?

I was thinking of joining this syndicate spoke with the person who ran the syndicate and he mentioned the high cost of insurance so after this mishap they could have some issues. Also who are those guys in the white shirts

Look like they have been doing a bit of testing.  Now that theirs a few fox bats on the market they might be able to get a replacement.

Judging by the condition of those 3 blokes in white shirts, they haven't been involved in anything that even relates to exercise, in recent times. So I guess that means they're very senior desk pushers.

They are NSW rural fire service bureaucrats. The blokes who do the actual work wear blue or yellow shirts and yellow coats!

Wine could be issue. After the latest news on china's five year tariff on Australian wine could mean it will be even cheaper.
