I was in awe of that aircraft, and had quite a long friendly chat with the PIC when they visited Bankstown. Very, very sad! RIP.
facthunter Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 That plane had a strange history of crashes. It's not the sort of thing you'd be able to fly in cloud for any great length of time. You'd lose concentration eventually and you would be aware of that happening. . Nev.
Flightrite Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 I recall that Dehav crash, it was used for a review of VFR flight in marginal WX for a few plane drivers I know some years ago. An utter tragedy that was utterly unnecessary:-( It will happen again, it's human nature to break rules written & personally:-(
