baldrick250 Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Hi my name is Brad, Just a quick introduction. I’m a welder by trade, I’ve liked aircraft all my life and one day I would like to build a kit plane. Got my first flight in a light aircraft by a family friend how owns kotta airfield he took me on a joy flight in the echuca aero clubs Cesena 172, and that’s were the bug bit about light air craft, but the aero club bought a jab and he hates flying the jab so no more joy flights. Brad.
Guest RLP Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 "...he hates flying the jab so no more joy flights..." Lol, so are there any "no joy" flights then?
planedriver Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Welcome Brad Book youself a tif (trial instruction flight) with the club in the Jab and you'll probably go home on a "high".
storchy neil Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 good pilot then if he can fly a jab:confused::hittinghead:neil
planedriver Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Yea! Storchy, to say nothing about streeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeching the dollar further, so you can afford to go straight away, if the missus starts nagging you;).
BigPete Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Brad - get off ya butt and join the EAC (Echuca Aero Club) as a social member ($25). Go to www.eac.id.au click on "Club Info" and you can download a membership application. Then on comps day (3rd Sunday in the month) you can get a flight in the back seat of the Piper Archer. Spend time and talk aeroplanes with us - we're a very friendly bunch. Plenty of younger pilots in the club (both GA and RAA). Learn to fly and then bulld your aircraft.:big_grin: regards
