Garmin 695

I have just bought another aircraft and it has a Garmin 695 fitted.

The data base does not contain minor airfields such as YKTN.

Can a member tell me how to add airfields to the device or give me a reference to where this is detailed?

I don't know, but you should be able to download the operators manual from the Garmin site.

My 196 had a menu that you could scroll through and add a waypoint quite easily.

Thanks, I have the operating manual but it does not have instructions for adding airport locators. I have added waypoints but would like the listing as an airport.
