F10 Posted May 5, 2021 Posted May 5, 2021 (edited) Recently purchased a Gazelle tricycle gear. Sharing it with a mate who manages a big veggie farm nearby, he owned a Thruster. Good at swinging a spanner too, has an L1. I’m recently retired from professional flying. She had stood for a while, previous owner seemed to have lost interest? So she needed a bit of love! Big clean up, 5 year Rotax rubber kit fitted, annual servicing carried out and she burst forth out the hangar, like a homesick Angel! Lovely machine, easy and pleasant to fly. I like the fact it is very conventional, centre stick, toe brakes, centre throttle. External “Junkers” 87 Stuka style ailerons which interestingly, seem not to cause adverse aileron yaw, on application but pedal still needed to balance the turn. 3 blade Bolly fitted. Loving it! Have got all my old school boy enthusiasm back! The pics are a bit dated, will add new ones. Wheel rims now much cleaner and nose spat now removed. Edited May 5, 2021 by F10 4
