jackc Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Here we go, wonder IF this is part of ASA plan for Rec Aviation? Surely we will be tangled up in it somewhere...... https://www.infrastructure.gov.au/aviation/future/index.aspx
jackc Posted May 10, 2021 Author Posted May 10, 2021 I just wonder IF it’s tied in somehow with the ASA plans for changing controlled airspace? Which affects us?
walrus Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 It’s a pity there is no AOPA and RAA submissions. We will be ignored, marginalised and treated as cannon fodder. What should have been stressed is the potential GDP Growth out of the private flying and GA sectors. Jobs, investment and growth opportunities.
Thruster88 Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 I think it is about the problems facing aviation businesses. I read the John Cameron Aviation submission, as a shy country boy I did a week of work experience there in '78 when they had about 5 employees. Also read the sydney metro airports for balance. 1
Old Koreelah Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 I noticed a couple of suggestions in Bill Whitney’s submission which have relevance for little aeroplanes: 2. Developasingleaxisautopilot(awingleveller)forlightandultralightaircraftso that if they get caught in cloud they don’t lose it. 4. EncouragethefitmentofGPSequipmenttoALLaircraft. 1 1
