P3tr0v Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me. My father used to own and fly a Cessna 150a reg. VH-DCI in the early 70's, and I was wondering if it was possible to track it or the owner down. The Cessna currently has a RAA reg. 24-7050. Dad is 82 and has not been in an aircraft for over 35 years, I have one distant memory of this plane, when I was sitting in a child seat in the back at the age of 3. I'd love to able to track down his old plane so he can see it again. Can anybody can point me in the right direction? 1
Thruster88 Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 You could phone RAAus, they might give you the info if you say your from avdata 🤔. I like straight tail Cessnas.
440032 Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 OR You call RAAus, and ask them to please pass your details on to the owner, who then may call you.
David Eyre Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Hi P3tr0v, VH-DCI, now 24-7050, is owned by Tony Dale and based at Serpentine Airfield in Western Australia. I photographed the aircraft in a hangar at Serpentine at one of their annual fly-ins in October 2022 - see below. You can reach Tony via the Sport Aircraft Builders Club https://www.sabc.org.au/contact-r Regards, David Eyre 2
