Anyone know what's happened to Wedgetail Aircraft, their web site has disappeared.

Are they still operating ?

Ray Tolhurst who owns/ed Wedgetail is/was a member of this site. He took over the support of Morgan Aircraft when Garry Morgan returned to NZ. I haven't heard anything from him for ages. The last post he made was 30 August 2020.

I heard some comments that there were a lot of parts etc that just disappeared. I don't think they went to the tip.

Wedgetail bought that 'Experimental' Aztec I was considering earlier this year. Got caught up with work issues and couldn't finish my due diligence before it was sold. Registered to "Wedgetail Aviation Pty Ltd" with an address in Carlingford. Wonder what'll happen to it now?  If anyone knows what's happening to the Wedgetail assets, I'd wouldn't mind getting in touch with whomever is managing their affairs.

Ray Tolhurst died suddenly on Christmas Eve 2023, aged 68. His FB page is still up, and no-one has posted any information on it as regards the associated demise of Wedgetail Aircraft.

Not sure if this sad news is widely known. Ray Tolhurst, a student of NBHS between 1968-1973, and my best mate, sadly passed away on Christmas Eve. Condolences to his family and friends. He was one...

That's interesting as the Aztec was purchased mid-this-year and is still tooling about out of Bankstown. Did he have a business partner or someone else to take the reins?

Wedgetail Aircraft P/L appears to have been Ray Tolhursts registered company. This company has been de-registered.

Wedgetail Aviation P/L is a different company, and owns VH-EBT, which I presume is the Aztec aircraft KRaviator mentions.

Yeah, it was sadly mentioned on this site previously that Ray was no longer with us. When I visited him at Camden there was A LOT of aircraft in various states of repair. I was hoping that thier might be a garage sale of the stuff as I was looking for some Morgan related items, I'm sure it wouldn't be so easy to deal with tidying that all up...
