The author could have called it "Engine-out demo over Biarritz"

but chose to dodge the hit-to-clicks that truth-in-names entails.  ; -)

A great vid of a rare and lovely bird, in any case.

Many years ago, at a Condobolin Fly In, I used one of these for shade (probably in the low 40's that day).

Dick Smith, who flew in with a mate, in his corporate jet, mistaking my stance (idle) as being proprietary - complimented me on my aircraft. After thanking him I confessed that my ownership was, at best, transient.

It was designed to take the assymetry out of engine failure. You just lose the thrust. One  engine was significantly more effective than the other. Nev

Twin engine endorsement?

Yes required, if done in a 337 it will be limited to centre line thrust only.

There has been a nice one parked at Tamworth lately, I would like to ask the owner for a ride one day, to see the difference from 182 in performance.
