Remember the throttle being wide open doesn't ensure the dashpot slide is all the way up and THAT determines the needle position.. Nev

agreed - I'll clarify -  if you have WOT and sealevel and between 5200-5800, there thing is (likely ) going to have the needles up in the rich region . the graph says " maximum power".

Good DA and higher revs will  have more mass airflow. Engine's general condition counts too. Nev
