The plans and some laser-cut parts for the 1/4 scale Comper Swift are on their way from Blighty. I'd like to get the covering as close to original in appearance as possible. Can you suggest a covering that looks like doped linen?

That Was the best , if you could afford it. Will work very good on youur six footer.

OME, from my days as a model builder there was an iron-on heat shrink covering whose name escapes me, but it had a matt paintable finish unlike the normal plastic look.  A lot easier to use and from an arms length you won't see the difference.
